VICEL GROUP has consolidated its image and market position in 5 phases that ensure the quality and experience required for the solutions that we offer to the markets:

Product Supply (1995)

With the company’s registered office located in Rio de Janeiro, and the representation of Sodium Hypochlorite Generation and Waste Water Treatment Equipment world-class brands SANILEC® / SEACLOR® and OMNIPURE™, manufactured by SEVERN TRENT De NORA, we started applying the experience accumulated in the relationship with the Brazilian Navy to the offshore oil & gas industry. By participating in the Oil & Gas Trade Shows, since 1998, we were successful in selling the first OMNIPURE™ and SANILEC® units in this market, in which installations we applied the thermoplastic material manufactured by GEORG FISCHER and/or the copper-nickel piping manufactured by EUCARO.

Services Agreements (1999)

Upon the opening of our branch in Macaé/RJ, we started to include in our portfolio “corrective and preventive maintenance services” for the OMNIPURE™ and SANILEC® units installed in the Petrobras rigs operating in the Campos Basin and we prepared ourselves for the “full service operation” through an increase in our team and the qualification of our technical personnel.

Full Solutions for GeHi and MSD (2003)

In 2003 we transferred VICEL’s headquarters to Macaé/RJ, bringing the company closer to the offshore industry business center, and started to offer “full solutions” for both the Sodium Hypochlorite Generation and the Waste Water Treatment, including the construction and installation of the connecting piping spools, to the Rigs, in CuNi and PVC Sch 80.

Assembly of Equipment in Brazil and ISO 9000 Certification (2006)

In 2006 we added the assembly of the OMNIPURE™ units in Brazil to our portfolio of services. We also started operating in our state-of- the-art facility in the Industrial Business District (ZEN) in Rio das Ostras/RJ, a sister city to Macaé/RJ.

Still in 2006, we launched the SHIPBUILDING™ line in thermoplastics materials, certified for the maritime and the offshore applications, manufactured by GEORG FISCHER, to whom we became exclusive representative for the Brazilian market.

In July 2006, our TECHNICAL SERVICES were certified by BRTÜV as compliant to ISO 9000 Standard.

Expansion of ZEN - RO Registered Office and Increase of Representations Portfolio (2008)

In 2008 and 2009, we increased our portfolio of represented international manufacturer’s, with new world-class trademarks that add more value to VICEL’s trademark:

Innovative Seawater Plate Distillers, Vacuum Vapor Compression Distillers and Reverse Osmosis Systems to desalinate seawater on offshore oil rigs, naval vessels and merchant ships.
